It was a warm afternoon in Modesto when Colleen & I left to film this wedding, and we welcomed the cool bay area weather.
Esther found us & many other vendors through Instagram. In the summer of last year, I met with Jason & Esther in Pleasanton over coffee. They are a very caring couple & they make you feel like friends right away.
Most of the Ceremony & Toasts were in Korean, which Colleen & I thought was very fun!
The reception was the most active I've seen so far. The MC directed many amusing games, which everyone seemed to enjoy.
It was so fun to capture the joy and fun of this wedding. <3

In their words: We met when we were both attending UCLA naturally through friends and dated for 6.5 years which included years of long-distance relationship.
We often go down to LA to see our friends and family, but even though we go down to LA or have lived in LA before, we really didn't do much of touristy activities in LA. So for our trip last year in April, Jason suggested we do some LA activities rather than just going there to meet friends. He scheduled trip to Universal Studios as well as Griffith Park Observatory and reserved multiple restaurant and romantic bars in case things go wrong at the Universal Studios. And of course, Esther managed to take different path all day and Jason was about to postpone the plan. However, when we went to cozy but romantic bar for a sip of wine on the night of trip's last day, he thought it was "right time" as he saw Esther enjoying the atmosphere. That's when he popped out the ring and proposed :)
